Our citizen group of planners is diverse. Many of us are Town Meeting Members and most of us are taxpayers. We come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. As we have worked to develop our plan we have reached out for support beyond the town to state and regional authorities and to several possible funding sources, and we have found enthusiasm for saving the Uplands.

But, over and over, we have also heard the message that if we can decide together what we want as a town, then we will have a far greater ability to affect the development outcome - whether through direct negotiation with the developer or through the 40B process.

We need your help! We are not a formal non-profit organization, so your contribution will not be tax deductible. However, we have expenses such as maintaining this website, printing flyers and newsletters, and holding community meetings.
