The regional Uplands Alternative Group's membership
and Trustees are from Arlington, Belmont, and Cambridge. Many of us are town meeting members, teachers, students, and
environmentalists. Our goal is to preserve the Uplands permanently from development.

In January 2007, the Uplands Alternative Group formed the Coalition to Preserve the Uplands and Winn Brook Neighborhood, along with the Winn Brook Neighbors Group and the Friends of Alewife to work together to save the Uplands.
